Dean’s love of writing began during his school years when his vivid and creative imagination led him to write short action, fantasy, adventure, and sci-fi stories.
Subsequent to this, he studied drama at Mountview Theatre School. During this time, he realised his real love and passion was writing and began writing screenplays after studying screenwriting at the Birkbeck University of London.
Dean has written several screenplays (and continues to write) and is working with various industry professionals to bring his projects to life.
In addition, he revised a short film script, ‘Epiphany’ that won numerous awards at film festivals in the UK and US, and the overall best film award at the Birmingham Film Festival, UK.
Dean has also completed his first fantasy action-adventure novel, The Platinum Sword And The Kingdom Of Reveal with his long-time good friend, multi-bestselling Author, Cherry-Ann Carew — the first of a trilogy. Comparison titles: The Lord Of The Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia, and The Witcher.
He is an avid fan of action, sci-fi, and fantasy movies, loves to travel, work out, read, listen to music, and spend time with his family, as well as in the English countryside, where most of his writing ideas are conceived.
